    On Wed June 8, 2016, the Nigerian House of Representatives passed a second reading for the 'Not too Young to Run Bill'. The bill was first introduced and sponsored by Hon. Tony Nwulu, Oshiodi Isolo Federal Constituency II, Lagos state on May 26, 2016.
    The bill seeks to address reduction of age qualification of candidates running for electoral offices. President: from 40 to 30,
    Governor: from 35 to 30,
    Senate: from 35 to 30,
    House of Reps: 30 to 25 respectively.
    The bill if passed into law will allow for inclusiveness of the youths in Politics.
