Recovering from a Scam

There are a few things you can do if you've already fallen victim to a scam.
Alert others
If your account has been compromised, you should start by sending a message to your friends to warn them that your account has been compromised. To prevent your friends from following any links that will compromise more accounts or falling victims to the same scam.
Get a new. Password
Change your password to something hard to guess. Avoid using the same password for multiple accounts
Be wise
As the saying goes once beaten twice shy. Be careful what apps you install/download and what pop-up message you give attention to.
